Artsprojekt
I have been a fan of Andy Howell since I was about 11 years old. He was the most creative dude on Shamitt Stix and later on did some of the most ground breaking and iconic art ever for New Deal as well as when he started Underworld Element which later came to be known as just Element. His career as a skater and artist is so amazing. I could write a novel on all the things he has done for skating. Artsprojekt.com is one of the most interesting concepts I have ever heard of. The site is there to help underdogs, starving artists and creative people who might not have the means, the capital or the marketing needed to get their art seen by the masses. Andy has always been a pioneer, not only when he invented such tricks as the switch impossible to pivot or switch nose bonk or fakie cab to tail block on a mini ramp but as well in his fine art and graphic design. I am honored to say I have been working with Artsprojekt and my good and close friends Dan and Sean Lafferty who are great and amazing artists themselves to work on the Haulliskation project. It should be going soon but I work 3 day jobs as well as the constant film bot work and Dan has 3 rad kids and a family and Sean is in Portland so it might be a bit but there is no deadline on creativity, so let the juices flow is my motto. Lol. Anyway, check out the site, peep some of the rad art and support some underground flavor rather than going and buying some fake art from target for your pad.
