Tom Hanks in the film Big got me in to skating. Him, as well as Mike J Fox in Back to the Future. It was funny, I was 8 years old watching the film Big and I was amped on the launch ramp he had in his loft and the rad Alva setup him and his home boy in the film were shredding around. I cannot find a frame grab or photo of the part from Big any place on the www but it was hella bad ass. 1988 was a rad year. Sorry all of you were not born yet.

I get asked a lot how I got in to skating and a lot of the time it is hard for me to recall the moment. I do however know That I owe tom a lot of props for skating. lol

You said "sorry all of you were not born yet", but I was 11 or 12 depending on what time of the year, my birthday being very close to Rodney Mullen's. However, I've never been into movies, as I'm extremely sensitive and the ever-slightest bad action or bad word would completely terrify me and make me extremely angry!!!!
